Ludvig Wins The Genesis

Ludvig Aberg picked up his 2nd career PGA TOUR win yesterday at the Genesis Invitational, winning by a shot over Maverick McNealy.

At LIV Golf Adelaide, large crowds came out to support the league’s premiere event of the season to win at The Grange Golf Club and to witness Joaquin Niemann win the individual title. The Fireballs took home the team win.

Tiger Woods Reflects

The Genesis Invitational tournament host made his first in person comments on Sunday since his mother passed away. Woods spoke about his upbringing and the values his mom instilled him from an early age.

PLUS: Speaking of the future, Tiger says his plan is to play more in 2025 and said a deal to re-unify pro golf is approaching, with additional meetings planned with President Trump.

McIlroy reveals round with Trump

Rory McIlroy says he played a round with the President prior to this year’s inauguration. Rory said he had a good discussion with Donald Trump about the future of the game, and said he thinks the President is “on the Tour’s side” after finding out that Trump does not enjoy the LIV format.

Rory added that LIV Golfers who have status on the PGA TOUR can expect to be welcomed back, adding that it will be good to have top players like Bryson DeChambeau back playing together.

PIF Approaching $5B Invested Into LIV

According to a report by Money in Sport, the Saudi PIF will be approaching a total investment of $5Billion USD into the LIV Golf league by the end of the 2025 calendar year.

LIV CEO Scott O’Neil Makes Bold Claim

During the LIV Adelaide broadcast in Australia, league CEO Scott O’Neil made a big claim about LIV, saying that outside of the majors, LIV is the only place to see the best players in the world.
