It was a weird off week in the world of golf. There were no tournaments on the PGA TOUR, DP World Tour or LIV Golf. There was some action on the Ladies European Tour, however. Fan favorite Charley Hull picked up her first win in two years at the Saudi Aramco Team Series event. Hull has caused a social media frenzy in recent tournaments, often seen ripping darts on the course. Check our her winning moment below!
🚨👱🏻♀️🏆 #WINNING MOMENT — Women’s golf superstar Charley Hull won the Aramco Team Series Riyadh making 8 birdies in the final round (66). Incredibly, Hull still won without lighting one up during tournament play due to Riyadh smoking restrictions.🚭

Is a LIV - PGA TOUR deal imminent? 🤝
The Sun UK is reporting that a long awaited deal between LIV GOLF and the PGA TOUR has been made. The report, which has not yet been corroborated by reputable sources in the golf world says that the deal will see LIV GOLF acquire an 11% stake in the PGA TOUR’s business, in exchange for an approximate $1.3 Billion USD investment.
🚨💰🤝 #REPORT — The Sun in the UK is reporting that a deal between the PGA TOUR & LIV is close to being finalized and is pending final approval. Valued at $1.3 Billion USD, LIV will reportedly play its events under the PGA TOUR umbrella and get an 11% stake in the Tour. Tiger… x.com/i/web/status/1…

The Sun’s David Facey writes that the deal, which is still pending approval from the PGA TOUR players, will see LIV play its tournaments under the TOUR’s umbrella, ending a multi year divide in men’s professional golf. LIV will reportedly receive 2 spots on the PGA TOUR board, including the role of chairman. Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy are said to have been instrumental in making it happen.
A deal would not come as a huge surprise at this point. In recent weeks, PGA TOUR commissioner Jay Monahan and the Saudi PIF’s Yasir Al-Rumayyan have met multiple times. The first real sign of progress came when Monahan and Yasir played together at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship at the beginning of October and appeared to be enjoying each other’s company.
And just this past week, Bunkered.com reported that Monahan had travelled to Saudi Arabia and was on site at the Ladies European Tour’s Aramco team series event.
Rory McIlory has suggested in recent weeks that a deal could be announced before the end of the year, but has also hinted that the U.S. Department of Justice could have their say on the matter as well.

The Match ‘Superstars’ has been announced and will air as a pre-recorded event on TNT, November 21-22nd at The Breakers West in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. It has already been played and is now being edited. For the first time in series history, the event will take place over a 2 day period with both a team & individual component and include 8 celebrities: Ken Griffey Jr, Michael Phelps, Charles Barkley, Mark Wahlberg, Bill Murray, Nate Bargatze, Wayne Gretzky and Blake Griffin. It will end with a $1M winner take all prize.
🚨🤩⛳️ #NEW: The next edition of ‘The Match’ has been announced for late November. Features a wide variety of prominent celebs. This is the original Match franchise and not to be confused with ‘The Showdown’ in December.

This is not to be confused with ‘The Showdown’, which is part of a new made for TV match franchise that will feature Bryson, Brooks, Rory and Scheffler in December at Shadow Creek. That event will air live and is an entirely different product.
Changes Proposed on the PGA TOUR ✏️
Big changes could be on the way for the PGA TOUR in 2025. If approved, a slew of changes could take effect, including:
Reduction in field sizes at some tournaments down to 120 players, with a 144 cap at others
Fully exempt players reduced to 100, down from 125
Top 20 KFT players earn PGA TOUR cards, down from the top 30
Elimination of Monday qualifying from some tournaments
🚨🚨🚨 BREAKING.
In an email just sent to players confirms the changes from my article a few weeks ago. Although not voted on yet it seems like a foregone conclusion
And they are proposing getting rid of Mondays for a good amount of events. Including the WM. This is so sad
